Angola government

Solek consulted and supplied products for 120 schools and clinics in rural Angola.

The project required our team to visit Angola for installing and training of local installers.

The company played a crucial part in providing expertise to design the correct solar PV

and inverter systems and source the best technology for the project.

A shipment of small integrated PV, inverter and battery systems was sourced and supplied.

These were developed according to specifications for small households. Solek managed the overall

project which also included quality control, performance testing and logistics.

Waste-to-energy including bio-mass is one of the opportunities lurking in South Africa.

Solek is currently doing our first bio-gas project. This grid-tie project will eventually export electricity

into the Eskom grid.

Northern Cape, the most rural area in South Africa, is Solek’s origin. Here we have supplied

many farmers with solar, wind, battery & inverter solutions and also solar water pumps.

These represent 20 years of infield experience: design, maintenance, system integration and

continuous improvement.

Our track record has brought along the opportunity to engage in government projects.

For the Department, not only do we develop tender specifications but we install and provide varies types

of solar water pumps.
